Lately I’ve started shooting film again.
This was taken using some out of date Agfa Vista I bought on Ebay.
Sadly Agfa went out of business a while back, and it’s a real shame as this film is lovely. Luckily, I managed to get 20 rolls of it for a mere ten pounds – the rest of them are now packed away inside my freezer allowing me to use them at my leisure.
Freezing film doesn’t stop it going bad completely (cosmic radiation will slowly ruin even frozen film) but it does extend the shelf-life for a good few years.
My freezer is full now (not all with film) so I won’t be buying any more until this batch runs low. Hopefully I will be able to find some before I run out completely!
